Enchantress in Mystical Forest

In a dense forest, shrouded in a cloak of mist, a clearing emerges, untouched by sunlight. Towering ancient trees stretch their gnarled branches towards the heavens, their leaves whispering secrets in the wind. Within this ethereal enclave stands a dilapidated cottage, its decaying framework barely holding itself upright. 
The windows, smudged with grime, cast dim flickering rays as a single candle glows from within. The air is still, suffused with an inexplicable energy.
